Spring is one of the most used frameworks to build Java applications. If you love Spring, you are probably using Spring not only in final applications but also internal common components or as a transitive dependency of third-party OSS projects such as Springfox. This introduces lots of challenges when you need to upgrade because several project versions need to be aligned.
