Effortless Spring Interface Clients with Auto-Configuration and Clients Registry

Olga Maciaszek-Sharma - Broadcom / Rossen Stoyanchev - Broadcom

Effortless Spring Interface Clients with Auto-Configuration and the Clients Registry Spring Interface Clients have been a powerful tool for simplifying HTTP-based service communication. While many users quickly adopted this approach, others have been looking for a more streamlined, out-of-the-box experience with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud auto-configurations. The wait is over!

In this session, we’ll introduce several exciting new additions across the Spring ecosystem. The Spring Framework now includes the Interface Clients Registry, making client setup more intuitive. At the same time, Spring Boot introduces built-in auto-configurations, and Spring Cloud brings dedicated Configurers, allowing seamless integration with features like load-balancing and circuit-breaking. You’ll see how to effortlessly set up interface clients using simple annotations and properties, as well as how to customise the setup using the brand-new DSL and custom Configurers.

Join us to see how these enhancements can simplify your development experience and make service-to-service communication in Spring more intuitive than ever.
